Artist Statement
In my artwork, I am driven not just by image creation, but by exploration of geographical locations afar from my normal surroundings, personal identity through portraiture, new ramblings of thoughts to be freed and interpreted and to beautify the commonplace, the mundane and unknown. The rendering of the human form is also a fertile subject for my explorations. Photography has been used as a vehicle to examine a wide range of subjects The work as a collective whole sits between fantasy and the real.
